The Murder of Pakistan’s Student Union: General Zia scared of socialist parties and the influence of USSR in Pakistan and  abolished the student organisations on the instructions of 40th president of USA, RW Reagan in 1983 as they were mostly leftist. General desired to support  USA and deployed Mujaheddin in Afghanistan and help USA in cold war with Soviet union and finally they succeeded to failed USSR to inter Afghanistan.

Question: How much utility  did Pakistan obtained?

Answer: Zero utility, moreover I’ve to say negative utility. For a time being Islamabad received dollars from W.District Colombia but it resulted devastating. It created two main issues, first one is, in tribal areas of Pakistan, Kalashan Kofe culture progressed more and more. The second one is, Sipa Salar imposed ban on student unions and student fell in lot of problems till now.

Question: How much utility did America obtained from cold war by investing on Mujhahidins?

Answer:  This investment pulled the graph to maximum heights and in 1991′ USA succeeded to break it’s conventional rival, the Soviet union into 15 countries ( Armenia , Azerbaijan , Belarus , Estonia , Georgia , Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Latvia , Lithuania , Moldova , Russia , Tadzhikistan (see Tajikistan ), Turkmenistan , Ukraine , and Uzbekistan).

Question: What benefits did Afghanistan gained by not entering Union of Soviet Socialist Republics?

Answer: “Socialism is a scare word, they have hurled every advance the people have made in the last 20 years. Socialism is what they called public power, socialism is what they called social security, socialism is what they called farm price support,  socialism is what they called bank deposit insurance, socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labour organisations, socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people”.  (Harry S.Truman)

Afghanistan obtained zero utility. When there socialist party succeeded in Afghanistan, poor people became wealthy. Socialist government imposed ban on private property and considered all the industries and lands as a government property. There was free education and health. USA wished capitalist system over there and funded to eradicate socialist and communist parties finally USA prospered to killed socialist leaders and succeeded to impose capitalist system over there.

“If I went to work in a factory, the first thing I would do is join a union”. (Franklin D Rosevelt) There are many problems in our universities and government is not solving our problems. The students of  Karakoram International University Gilgit are protesting for 6 months but still government is not decreasing the fees since Gilgit Baltistan is a remote area and people can’t afford such a heavy fees. Mir Pur University of Science and Technology has been damaged by recent earth quack and students still taking classes in the grounds. Medical and dental colleges are not increasing quota of Gilgit Baltistan and Baluchistan. Islamic International University Islamabad is not providing hostel to most of students and students pay high hostel rents.  EGP

We don’t have to pressed under external pressures. We have to refresh our student unions. It will provide better results. There must be a student union in all 4 provinces including Gilgit Baltistan and AJK.   Government conduct elections every year and elect a president, government issue a stamp to president. Without the stamp of president university will not able to admit a student. University allow the president to approach office of the Vice Chancellor, secretary education and minister education  without permission. Elite class admits their children on commendations and black mail government servants. If we will refresh the student union, it will provide right to deserving. It will bring leadership qualities and boost up self confidence of a student too. If government had not banned the students unions, we would not have faced such problems. “When moist, this clay is a very rich buttery. ” (Illama Iqbal).
